P.F. Chang’s, the well known full-service Asian dining restaurant, is gearing up to head on over to Karachi. It is reported to be opening near Bilawal Chowrangi (next to BBQ tonight and Baskin-Robbins) and while the exact launch date is yet to be announced, we hear it will be sometime after Eid –ul-Fitr – aka June 2019, as confirmed by a representative of the chain.
P.F Chang’s opened its first branch in Pakistan last year in Lahore, and you can read our review on the eatery here.
Known for its authentic flavours yet “fast food” approach to traditional Wok style dishes, this is one joint we are surely excited to see make its name on the Karachi foodie map. There are several local Pan Asian restaurants in the city that are offering similar dishes to P.F Chang’s, making us wonder if the chain is ready to bring something new to the table in order to break into the market (is the international fame and brand power alone enough to establish their place?).
