What are some of your Iftar and Sehri traditions?

Sehri is awesome – I love waking up int he middle of the night just to stuff my face and go back to sleep. Iftar is even better because you get to eat without any kind of guilt.

One dish that HAS to be on the table at iftar and why?

Fruit chaat! No sugar and no masala added – just the pure richness of all the different Summer fruits together.

One item you end up binge eating and then regret?

Samosas! Oh… and jalebis, of course.

What do you like to make /cook/create for the table? 

Honestly… If I am fasting then I would rather not bring anything to the table. It should all be served to me while I lay in bed! Hahaha

Your Sehri must haves? 

Yogurt! It helps curb your need for water during the day.
