SNACKS R’ US

Share

It’s National Potato Chip Day, and while we celebrate this occasion year round, its time to pay homage to Pakistan’s classic snack that built up our childhood.

NIMCO SLIMS

Who remembers the transparent, 20 rupee bag filled with mirch and masala. While the aesthetics of Nimco have gotten modern, their taste has remained the same. Crunchy, spicy and oh so addictive – these made up our childhood cafeteria days!

SUPER CRISPS

How did I love these without even loving BBQ flavor? There was something about finding these in your lunch bag that meant it was going to be a great day. While they came in a plethora of flavors, it was always the “red bag” that took home the win.

PRINGLES

Breaking out your stock at lunchtime was the ULTIMATE flex. A worldwide staple, munching on these and inhaling a whole mini box defined our childhood like no other.

SLANTY

New to the game – but oddly addictive – slanty are the new-gen chips to take over the scene. We personally find them tasteless but at the same time, can finish the whole bag in under a minute.

KNOCK OUT

These new kids on the block have cemented their name in the snack food hall of famers – because true to their name their flavours are a totally knock out.

POTATO STICKS

aka chilli chips! If these don’t define your childhood then we feel sorry for you. The classic Pepper and Salt flavour in to date unmatchable – crushing you these bad boys and inhaling the dust was what we lived for! Whenever we see these in stores, it’s the 90’s all over again
