The Ultimate Detox Menu Guide

Most Karachiites know The Ultimate Detox at Studio X is our one stop solution for eating clean and still getting that flavor which packs a punch. After trying almost every healthy creation on their menu, here are my top picks of their must try items.

The Metabolism Booster is a green juice that didn’t make me roll my eyes from being forced to go green. We all know drinking a green juice daily can do wonders to your health and skin, but sometimes the bitter taste makes you rethink wanting to be healthy. Rich in nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants it’s the best and easiest way to get your daily intake of greens into your body – and this one actually tastes as good as it looks!

Who said eating healthy meant depriving yourself of all things yumm? These Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies are less than 200 calories per brownie, and with no added refined sugar it helps regulate insulin levels in the body and suppresses sugar cravings. Talk about win, win!

The Muscle Fuel Smoothie has now become my all time favorite post workout treat. With 20g of protein it helps restore energy and rebuild muscle to improve strength after an intense workout. Made with almond milk, chia seeds, banana, peanut butter, coconut oil and chocolate and vanilla protein – this happens to also be trainer Fuzzy’s absolute favorite drink! (Yes, she got me hooked to this after one of her killer spin classes, and it truly made all the difference in giving me that post workout kick.)

Dairy is so last season! The Fresh Almond Milk is made with raw honey and cinnamon, and is perfect for anyone who is lactose intolerant or trying to stay away from dairy. Best of all, its made preservative and hormone free to give your body the absolute benefit of almonds, which include strong bones, healthy heart, vision and memory.

One of my favorite things to snack on has to be their Wholesome Granola. Made with roasted nuts, and dried fruits and berries, it gives you the perfect balanced breakfast option with no added sugar. Mix it in the morning with some greek yogurt and start your day the right way.

Time to throw out that bottle of Nutella. Do you have any idea HOW MANY calories you’re eating? The Ultimate Detox Peanut Butter is made with roasted peanuts, raw honey and peanut oil, and is preservative and refined sugar free. Add a tablespoon into your smoothie, spread on toast or have it as a dip with sliced apples; It’s a great options to have as a snack during the day for that added pick me up boost!

These are just my personal favorite goodies from their ever expanding menu. Up next, I can’t wait to try their newly released Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie! Missed any of your favs? Let us know in the comments and be sure you will find me at their juice bar post my morning yoga feeling spoiled for choices.
